We are currently hiring for the following positions:



Position: EDUCE GROUP SALES ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
Location: Bethesda, Maryland and remote locations

The Sales Account Executive is responsible for selling Educe Group consulting services and product offerings to new accounts. The primary focus will be on driving lead generation and increasing initial sales. The Sales Account Executive will work collaboratively with the Educe Group partners and other Sales Account Executives to drive organizational growth; this position will report directly to a partner. This position is based in Bethesda, Maryland or from nationwide virtual locations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The position involves working with the business development team to:

  • Develop and execute an individual business plan at the beginning of each fiscal year to achieve sales targets in alignment with Educe Group’s organizational objectives
  • Meet individual revenue objectives on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers and contacts
  • Drive the sales process with an emphasis on lead generation to actively create new business
  • Consult with prospects to understand business objectives and determine best solutions for their needs
  • Work with partners and vendors to develop compelling value propositions for joint prospects
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline by qualifying opportunities, securing meetings with key decision makers, and leading negotiations through to deal closure
  • Respond to RFIs, RFPs, and other opportunities by evaluating requirements, contributing to solution development, coordinating reviews, and assembling final response
  • Develop and maintain a current and thorough understanding of Educe Group service offerings, pricing, and contract terms
  • Consistently track account activities and opportunity detail in salesforce.com, including comprehensive weekly reporting
  • Promote the Educe Group at industry conferences and other networking events
  • Additionally, the position involves helping to develop and improve the Educe Group internal infrastructure as a whole and contributing to Educe Group’s organizational objectives

REQUIREMENTS

  • BA/BS and a minimum of 2-5 years of successful sales experience in a similar business model (e.g., professional services, technology solutions in the HR space)
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets
  • Successful experience at lead generation and new account development
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; must be comfortable facilitating group discussions with senior executives
  • Ability to build rapport quickly, and create and maintain close business relationships
  • Working knowledge of sales methodologies and contracting; federal contracting experience a plus
  • Driven, goal-oriented, motivated self-starter
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
  • Ability to manage time well and prioritize tasks
  • Strong organizational skills and follow-through

Position: EDUCE GROUP BUSINESS CONSULTANT
Location: Bethesda, Maryland and remote locations

The Business Consultant is responsible for requirements analysis, business process mapping, design, and implementation of a learning, performance, and talent management enterprise systems. You will work closely with Educe Group clients to develop best practice processes for the client as well as be the system expert. As a Business Consultant you will work closely with Educe Group clients acting as a liaison between end-users and the technical deployment teams by providing in-depth industry processes and product knowledge. You will be responsible for system configuration based on specific client requirements as well as streamlining and modifying the client's business processes to develop a complete business solution. Travel up to 50% is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The position involves working with clients both during and after implementation to do the following:

  • Gather requirements and define and map current processes in order to create "to be" business processes for the client based on current best practices
  • Analyze and document design specifications for the application
  • Implement application design by working closely with both the client and Educe Group technical team
  • Assist in user acceptance testing efforts as well as act as the liaison between the client and the system implementation team in troubleshooting product issues as they apply to the client's business
  • Participate in end-user training by providing both product knowledge and insight on the client's business processes and solution design
  • Mentor junior Business Consultants
  • Additionally, the position involves helping to develop and improve the Educe Group internal infrastructure as a whole and contributing to Educe Group;s organizational objectives

REQUIREMENTS

  • BA/BS and at least two years of prior consulting/professional services experience
  • In-depth understanding of business process design
  • Demonstrable ability to resolve complex system or business issues, often thinking on their feet, and offering multiple creative solutions or options
  • Driven, self-motivated, goal-oriented, and learns quickly
  • Passionate about customer service, producing high-quality deliverables, and follow-through
  • Exceptional verbal/written communication and organizational skills
  • Exceptional analytical skills and demonstrable problem-solving and trouble-shooting abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an outgoing, positive attitude
  • Attention to detail, determined, and solution-oriented
  • Ability to work autonomously, but also within a team environment
  • Must be comfortable with public speaking and facilitating group discussions with senior executives
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite and Visio are required
  • Knowledge of MS Project, SQL, Oracle applications, Talent Management software, People systems, and HR-based software is a plus
  • Enterprise application software implementation is a plus

Position: EDUCE GROUP TECHNICAL CONSULTANT
Location: Bethesda, Maryland and remote locations

The Technical Consultant is responsible for requirements gathering, system customization, implementation, and system testing of learning, performance, and talent management enterprise systems. You will work closely with Educe Group clients to develop requirements for data migration and maintenance, as well as customizations to the system user interface. You will be responsible for coding database and web solutions, as well as testing and providing technical documentation describing those solutions. Also, you will provide post-implementation support to Educe Group clients as they bring their user population online with the new or upgraded system. Travel up to 50% is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The position involves working with clients both during and after implementation to do the following:

  • Gather and define technical requirements to meet business process and system needs
  • Analyze and document technical design specifications for the application
  • Develop code for, and implement, application design by working closely with both the client and Educe Group business team
  • Assist in user acceptance testing efforts by helping test, and responding quickly to issues that arise as a result of testing
  • Mentor junior Technical Consultants
  • Additionally, the position involves helping to develop and improve the Educe Group internal infrastructure as a whole and contributing to Educe Group’s organizational objectives

REQUIREMENTS

  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related discipline and at least two years of prior consulting/professional services experience, including software development
  • In-depth understanding of business process design
  • Demonstrable ability to resolve complex system or technical issues, often thinking on your feet, and offering multiple creative solutions or options
  • Driven, self-motivated, goal-oriented, and learns quickly
  • Passionate about customer service, producing high-quality deliverables, and follow-through
  • Exceptional verbal/written communication and organizational skills
  • Exceptional analytical skills and demonstrable problem-solving and trouble-shooting abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an outgoing, positive attitude
  • Attention to detail, determined, and solution-oriented
  • Ability to work autonomously, but also within a team environment

    • Web services, including SOAP, WSDL
    • Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Loader, PL/SQL programming
    • Crystal Reports V7 and higher
    • Experience installing enterprise application software
